College searches today are pretty complicated, with a lot of moving pieces to keep track of and important questions to be considered. Thoughtfully plan the components of a successful college application – academics, extracurriculars, testing, financial aid and the college application process itself – so you apply to and attend the right school.
Designed for 9th, 10th and early 11th grade students who are eager to prepare for the college admission process. Parents are encouraged to attend all meetings.
Ideal start: May of Sophomore year in high school
What to Expect From This Module
- Helps the student set overarching goals for their high school experience and develop a plan for both inside and outside the classroom
- Provides insight into factors that will help a student stand out in the application process to help plan their high school academics and experiences
- The counselor and student will construct a customized college timeline with important tasks, benchmarks, and dates to organize the process
- Advises the student on how to build their high school resume to maximize the chances of being admitted to the college of their choice
Includes three meetings with an experienced counselor plus outside work by both the counselor and the student. Available for a $495 flat fee.
